At 20ft long and about 10 ft wide, I’ve found that mobile bases are a life saver. I was able to get a coat of epoxy on the floor before we moved in, and subsequently put in studded walls with lots of outlets. I’ve managed to put the dust collector as far away as I can from the tools, to basically reduce any chance of it working well, but will continue to tune things.

I agree with Jim about the shop pictures. Visual tours of other shops are always a welcome post.

This is a pretty cool looking shop that you have to work in. It looks to be well organized and I like the paneling on the walls. This gives the shop a nice look. Your bench looks a lot like my assembly table, especially when I am in the middle of a project. It seems that every hand tool I own finds its way to the table and I end up having little room left for assembling the piece.

You have a nice set of tools to play with as well. A lathe is pretty high on my wish list. This one looks like it would be a lot of fun to use.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

Lice looking shop, thanks for the tour.

Appreciate the kind words – the place always looks well used. Seems like if I do a deep cleaning, I start another project immediately and it ends up looking the same way (just different piles <smile>).

Have your say...
