I have been interested in woodworking all my life and about 8 years ago my wife and I bought our first house. It was small but my garage was not. I had to fill it with tools (slowly) and what really got me going was the Lathe. I was hooked on woodworking since. I learn from the internet or magazines or trial and error. (there is a lot of the latter)

I am in the Navy and when I am not at work, most afternoons I spend as much time as I can get away with in the garage. I think and dream about woodworking all day long, always thinking about the current or next project.

I have three loves in life. My wife, backpacking and woodworking.

Always looking to learn a new trick or see a new jig to do something I spend a lot of time looking at stuff on the internet and came across LumberJocks.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
