Part 2: The Axle Hounds

Today I coated the Axle Cap & steering blocK with linseed oil, forged out the Axle Cap bands and several other pieces of hardware. Also milled parts for the Axle Hounds and tongue.

Part 4: Rear axle

This is the linkage for the brakes, they will be just a block of wood on a wood beam that rides against the rear wheel. The real wagons brake blocks are 4’ long x 8” square. Theall rod you see here is not the final piece. Part 5: The Box

Starting the Box, with the frame rails and deck All sanded up and ready for the sides Putting on the side rails.
