Simple Drill Press Table -- How Did I Live Without It?

Not putting this as a project because it’s less about the finished product and more about the workflow. Last weekend I built a drill press table, inspired by several I’ve seen here. Nothing fancy, no T-track or fence or hold-downs, just a plywood box with a lipped top surface: The difference in how I use the drill press is night and day. Before I had the stock surface which was nigh-impossible for clamping, mostly due to the way the underside of the metal was shaped. I’ve used the press a lot over the last few days; just adding a lipped surface has made positioning and clamping a piece of cake, for example: I wish I had done this a lot sooner. :)
