Workbench #1: Vice Screws

Starting to work on the hardware for the Holtzapffel bench I am planing. Going to DIY my own wagon vice as I can’t afford the Benchcrafted Cadillac. Use Enco had a sale on Acme rod so I bought 3 3’ sections of 3/4” 6tpi acme rod, nuts and 3 hand screws. I only plan on using 12” sections of rod for the Moxon style twin screw and the wagon vice. The handwheels came without a hole bored in them so I drilled them out to 5/8” then used a grinder to take a short section of the threaded rod down to fit.
