« Part 3: Round over Part 4 of Table Saw Cabinet for Craftsman 113 series Part 5: Joinery, cabinet assembly, and some paint »

Today I cut all the panels for the cabinet boxes to their final dimensions, and hopefully I’ll get dados on tomorrow so I can get them assembled. As you can see, I’m using nice plywood and ugly plywood. The nice plywood is for any of the panels that show, and the ugly stuff is for the panels that don’t.

I also assembled the supports for the mobile base. I used pocket holes to fasten the outside boards, in conjunction with lots of glue in the dados. In order to drive in the pocket screws, I had to put this together in two parts. After assembling the separate pieces, I just dropped in the two corresponding pieces. There was a little fuss, but overall not too bad.

-- Don't think outside the box. Think as if there is no box at all.
