Starting a cabinet for my craftsman 113. I am building this with inspiration from a number of different builds I have seen. Today I started the mobile base, which is a torsion box design made with poplar, topped with some plywood sheathing. I will also be adding 4 inch casters. Today I notched out the poplar and drilled some pocket holes. I have seen other torsion box designs like this, but I decided to make mine wrap around the wheels for greater support. As you can see from the pictures, I have marked out the radius of the wheels, so as to not have any unpleasant surprises when I try to roll this thing around lol. Also, you may notice I screwed up one of the dados I notched out. This is being fixed by gluing in a small square. Who ever said you can’t cut wrong and add wood back on? Lol… Probably the first of many many dumb mistakes I’ll make on this journey.

-- Don't think outside the box. Think as if there is no box at all.
