One of few things Ryobi Got right.
To give Ryobi more than 2 star rating is pretty good, considering I am not a huge fan of most of their products. So for a plunge router, this is a good router to have whether you are a novice or a pro.It has plenty of power to do any job you need it to do. easy controls for speed changes. the on off switch is with in thumb reach, the plunge mechanism is nice and smooth. quickly locks and unlocks, and easy to do so with both hands on the router,, ergonomically it is very comfortable in the ...
Ryobi Lovers will want this.
Long story short, I have been trying to find a sub base plate to use on my routers, problem I always found was none would line up with my router, most of the ones i tried with pre drilled holes was they didn’t line up properly on my router, and if i attempted to drill new holes, there was little room for error. Low and behold I had two choices buy a different brand of router, or keep hunting. The hunt paid off. I finally found a sub base plate I can use in conjunction with my router. ...
Eh- you will love it or hate it.
The first part of this review is just focusing on the set up on the CRB 7 router jig attachment. Set up is pretty straightforward it’s not really that difficult to set up your router. I am using Ryobi router RE180Pl1G Plunge router. The only thing with this set up is they are assuming your router has the wing nuts for a straight edge already attached to your router, my router didn’t have them so I actually had to go to my local hardware store and buy some knobs. Now if you have...
From a Pinto to a Ferrari
When you go from the planer like in the third picture to a newer model, there is going to be an obvious world of difference. After fifteen years of using my H&W planer which is to say been very good to me even with some of the finagaling i had to do some days to get her to run right. I decided finally it was time to purchase a new Planer, so for six months of researching all the different planers I finally opted for this Dewalt, Now i have only used it a few times to more or less test it ...
more than I will ever need
I had gotten this as a christmas gift about four years ago. This is more than I will ever need in a circular saw. It has several features that I really l like, Tool free bevel adjustment is quick and easy to use. Tilt lock Handle adjustment is a nice addition. She is a beast when it comes to power, she cuts through materials like butter.
Really People
I really don’t where to start with this review simply because I have seen other post on here mostly on the negative side because obviously people are morons and shouldn’t be near a toy drill let alone a real one. Also I made this purchase a while back and don’t recollect the exact price. But if I bought it then it had to be under 300 bills, Let me start I guess with the pro’s (please keep in mind my prior experience with a drill press’s was a dinosaur from the ...
Top notch
For years I had been getting away with my Black and Decker Jig Saw, and honestly I hated it. Then I saw a You tube video of a guy demonstrating an orbital jigsaw. So I finally broke out my wallet and bought a new Jigsaw, I was looking at several different models and decided on the Porter cable, The price was with in my range, I have and older Porta Cable Jig saw (when I say older, I mean it is older than me and still works great, except I can’t find that style of blades so I use her ver...
