About me? I suspect no one really cares in this venue but here goes…

Woodworking has been an interest and passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I spent my childhood in my dad’s garage teaching myself how to use the limited woodworking hand tools he owned; I do not know how I did not remove some fingers back then. Fast forward to my 30’s when I was finally able to start “the process” of outfitting the shop. I have since been through three different table saws two lathes and two lunchbox planers. I also have a dedicated 20 x 20 shop with central dust collection and aside from the desired upgrades every tool I could ever need – save a few more lathe gouges. Professionally I am an Electrical Engineer specializing in automotive embedded systems but my thought always drift to my shop – or my motorcycle – wait no, my family including my wife and children – ya, ya, wife and children… A friend of mine reintroduced me to the lathe about 6 years ago – word of advice – don’t get a lathe, it will consume you. Well, that’s all I care to write for now…

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
