Need help with point cutting bit - 3 replies

This is my first time using any kind of a forming bit on the CNC. I am using a 3/4 diameter, 1/2 shank, 3/8 radius point cutting roundover bit on 1” red oak. Can anyone give me a starting point speed and feed for this material?

Who sells high quality PT lumber??? - 15 replies

I am replacing the planking on my front porch and stairs. I replaced the stairs about 5 years ago with pressure treated 2×6’s from the big box store and they warped terribly and I don’t like how rounded the edges of them are. Is 84lumber or local yards any better or do I have to bight the bullet and go back to Lowe’s?
