i try to work with my hands when they let me.i was in a car accident 5yrs ago. i had neck surgery .and still need back surgery holding off as long as possible because i have heard the stores. some time i have a hard time walking. but i push on i have pain 24/7 but sometime when doing the woodworking it keeps the pain off my mind. i just wish my legs would get stronger so i could do more. i 'am slower now but i get the job done sooner or later. and when my project turns out it makes me fill better about myself

Welcome Jimmy!

Junior Jock – I suspect that Jimmy posted some questions within his profile when he first made it, and a1Jim helpfully (to my eye) gave information to a new member on the best way to communicate with others on this site. I’m sure no one here would want a new member to think they were being ignored!

The comment about him not being part of management is because it looks like the information might be copied and pasted from a FAQ somewhere. Thus he gave the information, credited it to management and then clarified that he’s not part of management.

The content of a profile, project etc can change drastically but the comments don’t change, meaning there can be a disconnect between the user content and the commented responses. I did something similar when I started – I asked a question in my Workshop page. Hence the first commenter on the page wrote “Well Elizabeth, it depends on what you’re going to make in your shop[...]” which no longer makes sense with the content of the workshop page. But it did at the time.

Welcome to LJs Jimmy! Unfortunately, I understand some of your back problems from my own experience. Hang in there and you will get by and thrive!
