Recently retired from trying to make a living, but not an old geezer. Not by a long shot.

Hobby woodworking is about to get a bit more serious as I attempt much more elaborate work on the combo of modern and vintage machine tools and equipment in my home wood shop.

Have discovered, this summer, the fun of searching for, rehabbing or having refurbished professionally, vintage woodworking machines, all made in the U.S.A. many years ago.

At present I own three in the basement and two being refurbished by my friend and skilled machine tool guy.

My wife and I would be happy to live at the shore in real retirement, but I fear the salt air will rust up my great tools.

Welcome. You have found the right place for woodworking. A great group of people willing to help. Looking forward to see your projects and comments. Work safe in the shop and don’t forget to use pushsticks.

I am always pleased when I can welcome another Wisconsin wood worker. Enjoy the site. We may run into each other around town. Happy wood working
