Been making things in wood since I was 9 or 10. Trained as a technical illustrator (cutaways exploded diagrams etc.) Many years in commercial art, then 10 years as a commercial photographer, buildings interiors, exteriors. Seven years ago I took the plunge and set up 'Creative Woodwork'. It hasn't turned out quite as I intended but that is entirely down to me - not doing my market research + unrealistic expectations and accepting any job to keep busy. I do occasionally get the more interesting job and am trying to develop the vintage vehicle ash frame side of the business.
