My shop is a two car garage that I need to keep open because I also park both cars in it at night.
For major tools
I have
10” Sears Contractors table saw
12” Sears Band saw
4” Rockwell Jointer
4 sp Rockwell wood lathe
Delta floor model drill press
12” Delta lunch box planer
just acquired a Rikon combination 8” disc sander & 1” belt sander.
soon to be replace Montgomery Ward Scroll saw.
12” craftsman radial arm saw inherited that from my father-in-law
all that is against the wall until needed. It works pretty well. I can leave a vehicle out if I have a large project going.
I now have a new 16’X24’ shop so no longer have to move tools around. Here is the blog on building it.

Replaced the craftsman contractor saw with a SawStop contractor’s saw.
Now have a 14” Jet bandsaw with 6” riser in addition to the 12” bandsaw.
Replace the delta planer with a DW 735
Just replace the scroll saw with a Dewalt DW788
