This is my first post on this project although I have been working on it for a little over two months. My idea for this chair came from a woodworking book. This chair in particular is the model of a Gustave Stickley number 47. Just yesterday I nailed in the side brackets so I will be able to install the seat boards at a slanted angle. More progress to come!

Nice! Welcome. We need more Stickley projects here. When you say nailed, are you being literal? Nails won’t hod under the cyclical stresses a chair experiences. Stickley hid nails beneath plugs. I’m looking forward to the rest of your build blog.
