This will be the first of many blog entries that I will post every once in a while. I believe this will be a good way to keep track of what I’ve done on a semi-day to day basis.Well, I got another pallet of wood from my work on Friday and decided to wait until this morning to unload it. Part 2: Running out of space!

Well, I was at work and riding a bike from one building to the other when I noticed another pallet of wood next to a dumpster. I also retrieved two 12ft pieces that were rought cut to about 2 1/2” by 6” (one of these pieces was broken in half). They looked like they were part of a long pallet that the guys broke down to throw away.So I spent some time tonight taking out the nails that I found in the wood and trying to find places in my 12’ x 14’ workshop to put them....

Part 3: Father and Son project

Well, I finally finished the display cabinet last week and I was thinking about moving some stuff around in my shop. That’s when my son asked me about teaching him about woodworking. I tell you, there is nothing like the feeling of your son or daughter wanting to build something with you. That just made my year. So I happily postponed my redesigning my shop for this!He decided that he wanted a little stand for along side his bed. Something he can put his phone and an alarm clock on...
