Given Sam Maloof’s passing, I thought I would post the link to a web site that shows Sam in action (there are other woodworking videos as well). His videos are in the Video Library under A Woodworking Experience.

I met Sam last October so I’ve been reading everything I can find on the internet about him “since he went away” (that’s how Sam talks about Freda’s passing) and this seven hours of video was the best giving more insight into the man than into his woodworking.

I just watched the whole series and i’m left feeling very humbled! what a great man he was, i wish i could have had the opertunity to meet him. all of mankind should live their lives with his humility, passion, and candor. p. s. woa way scarry wat he does with a bandsaw!
