I have asthma and have for many years. Been treating it for the last year. This past week we have been having our kitchen remodeled plus I was scrolling some soft maple (of course without a mask). One or both of these sent me into a severe asthma attack that put me in ICU and an over night stay in the hospital. Part 2: Follow up Number 1

So I had a visit with my breathing Doctor today. The simple fact is I have asthma and that can’t be fixed. Controlled is another matter. First you must know what are the “triggers: that set you off”. At this time I am not sure but will have allergy test later. The real issue is that what might make you cough or sneeze might send me to ER. It depends on many factors. In the short term, if I am in the shop I MUST have on dusk masks and the dust filters MUST be on. Like most...

Part 3: Vacuum Cart

So I was surfing the net and found a video about a guy (a real woodworker) making a cart for his vacuum and accessories. This is of real interest to me as I have got to be real careful of breathing and the lungs. So I said, ” I have already got the cart so just build the rest.
