I'm mom to two kids, Josh 15 and Kayla 10. Kayla is our adopted daughter, at the age of 7. She's come a long way and has been such a delight to see her mature and come out of very bad circumstances.
I'm an animal freak, with three dogs, an indoor cat, and about 20 outdoor (barn) cats with three pregnant and more on the way. (I need a doctor to fix 'em all!) We have chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, and many various reptiles including a Burmese Python. I would love milking goats and alpacas.
We homeschool, love our Lord, would love to be off-grid and self-sufficient and all around are considered weird by most of the family. ;-) That's okay by us, because we love who we are and what we do.
I can't wait to start learning about woodworking. It's something I've wanted to do since I was a teen and will finally be able to afford to get the tools I need (in the near future, that is!). I plan my first project to be a log bed. Wish me luck!
