All good things must come to and end and I had to pack all the pen trade goodies back into a brand new box to travel back to Tim in Georgia. Quite a feat to get everything back into the largest flat rate box the post office has. All packed up and ready to go.
I took the following out of the box:
1 fiddleback maple blank
1 challenge 391B blank from Steve
1 challenge 391 blank from Karson
1 wine stain blank from Napaman
1 camphor blank
1 oak tobacco stick blank from Derrel
1 shell casing
I put the following back into the box:
1 spalted ambrosia maple blank from my special stash
1 concalu alvez blank
1 zircote blank
1 olive wood Bethlehem holy wood blank
1 pink ivory blank
1 cedar blank – wood is from the Hermitage home of president Andrew Jackson
1 Big Ben finished pen made from 200 year old barn timber chestnut
The box will head to the post office tomorrow and head to Woodstock, GA.
