Location: Mount Juliet, Tn

Recently retired after 38 years in retail management. The joke at our house is we don't do spring cleaning we just move--16 different moves over the years. I picked up the love of workworking from my father who has patiently answered all my questions over the years. We designed the house that we live in (last move honest!) and built a separate woodworking shop for me to work in and a stained glass studio for my wife to work in. I have worked on many projects over the years and am looking forward to making the sawdust fly in my retirement years.

Jeff. Thanks for the pointers on my winged bowl. Great idea to use the black and white poster board to draw out the view of the wings. I will give it a try. Love the work you do. Tim

I’m with you on the retirement goals of keeping the wood flying in retirement. I’ve spent over 20 years preparing for being able to do some woodworking and I finally reached the point a couple years ago to get started. I don’t see myself as retiring in 15 years or so as much as I see myself transitioning from the office job to working in the shop all the time.. Hopefully we’ll all be here when that time comes!
