Part 1: Getting started

This is actually a fairly simple project, overall. It just has lots of parts, which makes it complicated for me, relative to what I’ve built before. I most enjoy building small boxes, so this is right up my alley. I ordered the plans from Woodsmith, paying around $15. I’m building two at one time; one for my wife and one for my mom. Part 2: Rough milled lumber

It’s not exciting, but it’s a step in the project. All lumber milled to .6”. Will allow to rest a few days and then finish planing it to .5”.
