Number 10!
It’s a good thing I have a computer to remind me of things. I got a message that it was my 10th anniversary of joining LJ. The past year has been a strange one. I think I have managed to do a lot, inspite of the virus, maybe even spending a bit more time in the shop.
My wife and I played golf together 45 times….gotta be a record! A friend mused that the virus afforded him and his wife more time together, and it gave her a chance to go over all the things he had done wrong in the past 60 years. I got in a lot of fishing and created some new wood projects.
I miss getting together with friends and handshakes and hugs, but mostly I miss the smiles that hide behind masks these days. I hope we will all remember what we missed and treasure those things more when they return.
John

Congrats John. I appreciate your, at once, incisive yet light-hearted comments. If I may, I will share two of my favorite “pandemic jokes”. A couple had been quarantining together for a few weeks. They are sitting on the couch together. One turns to the other and says: “Could you not bat your eyelashes so loudly?” A fellow is telling his drinking buddy one night that he has to go into quarantine with his wife. He says: “If I die in the next two weeks, it wasn’t due to the virus!” Take care John.

Spot on, we all take to much for granted.
