Part 1: necessity
I came into this hobby nearly a year ago. It has always been interesting to me, as my father enjoyed making wooden toys, one grandfather had a small sawmill, and another grandfather made furniture here and there… And so it digs its claws into me. Part 2: Tablesaw rebirth 2 :cabinet
I have been able to put a few more hours into this transformation this week. I have also found my (free) lumber source for the rest of this build, and maybe a little left over. A friend was “junking” an old twin size captains bed, mostly chipboard/plywood veneer, I gladly gave it a home. At first I was going to sand it down, and refinish for my son. Part 3: Will i ever finish anything?!
I havn’t gotten anywere on the table-saw rebuild! I’ve drawn and redrawn my plan of action enough that I have the steps memorized by now. I had a couple other projects that Ive started now (request from family). I have a “Lemonade stand” to build for my daughters birthday, and a listening center thing for my sister-in-laws third grade class, both needed by the second week in September,.... but that wasn’t enough to stop me from starting another project…....
