Here are a couple toys that found me.
1) a warrant superior saw. missing a brass brad, and has a mysterious hole drilled also.
2)sargent co #418 fore plane (most excited about) after cleaning the burnt motor oil/cat hair film (yuuuuk) a little sharpen, and let her go….
3) no name jack plane, no markings, appears to have been red at one point (from peeking under the tote).
Im a bit thick-headed guy by nature, but this recent introduction to the idea of “earning the right” to tools, has really struck me deep. All of these need work, and my intention is to give them just that, with a little more focus than i may have before.
But for tonight, there is an even more important task, Ironman needs surgery …

Does iron man even need anesthesia? I bet not!
Good score on the hand tools, nothin better than bringing one back to life and pulling some shavings with it. You find it, you clean it, you deserve it.

Thanks fellas,
As for Ironman, he requested whiskey, but all I could offer was mineral spirits. He seems to be recovering just fine. Took a test flight this morning.

There has been many times when my toys had to wait till I fixed someone else’s toys. Fatherhood…..
