« Part 2: Tablesaw rebirth 2 :cabinet Part 3 of Growing into my shop series no next part

I havn’t gotten anywere on the table-saw rebuild! I’ve drawn and redrawn my plan of action enough that I have the steps memorized by now. I had a couple other projects that Ive started now (request from family). I have a “Lemonade stand” to build for my daughters birthday, and a listening center thing for my sister-in-laws third grade class, both needed by the second week in September,....

but that wasn’t enough to stop me from starting another project….adding a “wing” to the shop(shed)

(and no my frame is not sitting on the ground as it appears)
This is what I have right now. I have about $50 in it so far (the frame). The flooring is pine/walnut/oak/poplar/plywood. Mostly from recycled pallets minus the pine flooring that is a craigslist score. I had seen a table made from recycled flooring that got me to thinking, as i was cutting about 12”-16” off of each piece…

Heres with the old finish.

Heres after a few minutes with the cabinet scraper.

end grain before

and after…

So add a table to the list….I love it!
