truing up some turning blanks. need some advice - 5 replies

Hey I recently got some wood for free from a friend but they are not completely true on each side. If looking at the endgrain the profile looks more like a skewed parallelogram without a 90 degree edge/ corner. Do i just run these through a planer and or jointer?
