I decided i needed to validate my 2nd shaper purchase and needed a mantle. This is what i came up with

It started with some samples for my wife

This is what she ended up liking the best. The frame is 7/8 and the moulding is just over 3/4 tall for a small reveal

Once that was decided on i ran most of the moulding I needed

This Is where im at now, I still need to decide on the moulding for the top section. Im leaning toward a 3-4” cove under the cap. And i need to install the trim piece that wraps around the top of the granite.

Good start on your project.

After you get some experience with the new shaper how about a review?
