Went through all 30 pieces hand sanding with 220 grit. It took a good 2 or 2.5 hours. I guess I don’t necessarily hate sanding. It’s definitely not as glamorous as cutting out pieces or assembling your project. But these days with such a hectic daily life between work, family, kids events it’s a bit of a double edged sword. On the one hand, it’s a lot of time I really don’t have. But on the other, it was kind of nice to do something mindless for a while, listen to some podcasts, and just relax for a bit. Regardless, I’m glad the sanding is over with.

I’m running out of time on this project fast. I may or may not finish them, we’ll see how ambitious I get, or how much sleep I’m willing to lose.
