Hi all, I think a blog is the best place for this article, my wood club had it’s annual show this weekend and I thought I would post some pics if anybody is interested in our work. All proceeds from the show went to the childrens ward of our local hospital and the local community bank matched the money we made dollar for dollar. There were about 200 items on display so I will only post pictures the of the tables and some of my particular favourites, if anybody wants a close up ...

Welsh Love Spoon by David Stanley, David also won the ‘Super Foot’ competition that I had my native flute entered in, there were some great items displayed in the super foot but the clock David made was a spectacular piece of carving. I will post a pic of David’s clock on a later blog. Here is the love spoon he displayed;

The tolerances in this bearing are unbelievably small, A really nice trumpet replica Basket of fruit Carved jacket on a hanger with matching stand Porcupine Bowl Turned redgum vase Lovely turned redgum burl bowl I will post some more favorites tomorrow.
