« Part 2: Leg Part 3 of Yellow Box Burl Coffee Table series Part 4: Glass and starting the finish »

Yep I am going pretty slowly with this but thankfully it is because I have some work! Being a freelance musician is sooooo unpredictable.
Anyway I have cut the recesses into the underneath of the table for the leg and glass and into the leg to take the glass. I used a router and will be using 12mm toughened glass which will be fixed in with industrial strength silicone. The glass is presently being cut and while I am waiting I will be starting on the finish, I’m still not sure if I should go marine varnish like last time; or try a two pack finish, any ideas out there?
