I am trying my hand at a small Neil Scobie designed box, I am finding it quite a challenge and thought I would post a few pics of where I am at with it.

The frame is Pecan, the top panel is aged red cedar, the front and back panels Redgum and the side panels Huon Pine.

I am at the glue up and finishing stage and have had quite a clean build up to this point, and have just made a schoolboy error that I am a bit unimpressed with but I think I will be the only one to notice (or should I say I hope!)

The box is a Christmas present for daughter #2

Great looking box, I am sure it will be well accepted
