I have finished this now and it was quite an interesting project, here are some pics of getting her strung and with the skin fitted.
I tried to do everything the old school way this included seasoning the pig skin with a hand made concoction made from bees wax, lemon oil and copha.

A great result! The pigskin came out really well too. Enjoyed the blog cut the earlier pictures drove me nuts. Has anyone told you that photos taken with your phone in a vertical position will always post on LJ in the wrong orientation?
