I’ve been working on installing a hardwood floor in our home and came to the point where I had to resaw some of the flooring to make spacers for room transitions and riser fronts for stairs.
I bought a used band saw a few months ago and had tried to use it with the attached blade with horrible results. I purchased a new 5/8 blade and found that while installing the previous owner had adjusted the saw for a 92.5 inch blade. After contacting Grizzly support about readjusting the saw, I went through all the alignment instructions and got the saw perfectly plum. Now, I’m able to easily resaw boards to any thickness. It’s great having equipment working correctly.
I also found that my miter saw fence was off so I got that squared as well.

The previous owner must have never changed the blade as that is what the Grizzly 14 inch band saws come with. I have had mine for years and still love it. Welcome to Lumberjocks.
