Location: grand junction co.

Intermediate/beginner woodworker, new wood turner. Just started learning on my new lathe the Delta midi, a great machine. Picked up a powermatic 66 this summer , a rusted hulk, sanblasted and did a complete overhaul, never had such a great machine, my old craftsman (1970 version) went to salvation army.

Lots of time on youtube and lumberjocks, getting great ideas. Thanks to all for your inputs and this site. Looking forward to posting some of my upcoming projects soon. It looks like a cutting board is on my project list, seems you gotta do at least one or two.

i'll have more time woodworking as I have just finished a 1937 ford street rod, ha! just in time for winter.

Welcome to Lumber Jocks! This is a great place to get – or give – advice about woodworking on the forums and the project posts are a wonderful source of new ideas. I look forward to seeing your projects and posts.

To get the most feedback on your projects, it’s best to only post 1 or 2 at a time. This way you will get feedback over several days and from a wide variety of members.

Please enjoy your membership.

Hi there,
Welcome to LumberJocks… I joined the site myself a few months ago and will give you fair warning, this site is VERY ADDICTIVE, VERY EDUCATIONAL, and VERY FUN…. so sit back, enjoy the ride and learn from the other LJ’s as they are a group of extremely talented people that are also very friendly…

Enjoy your time here on LJ and pass the word to any of your woodworking buddies about us…
