Photos and info on 1/8th scale model 5130 #14: Shovel bucket, continued.

There is 210 pieces of wood and 18 #2×3/8th screws in the shovel bucket. The grooves are for wear(rub) bars on the bottom of the bucket. The grooves on the left side are for the placement of the ears that is used for the attachment to the boom. Building up the thickness. The inside. The outside. The inset is needed for clearance on the end of the boom. This shot helps to show the layout of all of the parts. The side panels(one of two). Just lining up the pieces. Gluing the sides on. Line up shot. Checking the clearance (no rubbing) of the two bucket parts. I do not want to ruin my paint job. Left and right good to go. Ready for assembly. A ...
