This is one of the first slabs I cut off this beautiful California Coastal Live Oak. After air drying for over a year and then putting it in a solar kiln for a couple of months , I decided to take the next step of which I had been very apprehensive about , because of everything I had read about epoxy pour wasn’t for beginners. Like I’ve told myself on the rest of this project I have undertaken , no guts no glory. Here’s a picture after a couple of coats of epoxy.
