« Part 6: A new take on a tool rack Part 7 of Dutch Tool Chest Build-a-long series Part 8: Finished Chest »

I have the saw till and dividers finished. Everything is starting to find a home. I plan to put the first coffin smoother I make in the space in the back of the chest beside the #5 (You can see the #5 and open space in the last picture). But first I am going to make some custom holders on each side of the chest for the dividers and squares. This should free up a lot of room on the tool rack for chisels/gouges.

Getting there, but you need a lid to keep the dust and other crap out!.
I’ve started to work on the M.I.L.s T.V. stand after a month off and spent
more time playing with stuff and checking some of the Wood Planes
that have been neglected. Got the main carcass assembled, now
to start on the shelves and doors!

Pretty exciting to get all those tools in their new homes I bet.

Yes it is. When I move into my new shop ( A 10×16 building I built last year) It will be hanging by a French cleat right beside my bench. Everything will be within as reach.

Have your say...
