Any idea? This board was done over 4 months. Gave it to a friend and it whraped? Made over 60 endgrain This is the first time that this happens thanks

cutting boards - glue edge breaks off - 34 replies

ENDGRAIN boards The first glue up is done then I cut the strips (1 1/4) for the endgrain board.Sometimes some strips will break an the glue edge. can anyone help me with this.I am using titebond III glue. is it because i over-tight my clamps at the first glue up and the glue got squeezed out. thanksps. I hope you understand my question...

Confuse ? cutting boards - 3 replies

Can anyone tell me why? Did a cutting board 1 month ago… been using it on one side… cut, wash, etc.Why is it that the underside of the cutting board (which as not been used) is still really smooth and the top is ruff (not smooth) . I have been adding wax and oil on both side. Confused ;-(

strawberries stain on cutting board - 20 replies

HELP!did a cutting board with maple and purple-heart… i finished it with beeswax and mineral oi… strawberries were cut on it and there is now red stained. I saw on the net that i could use VINEGAR and SODA to remove it. It did remove it but now the board is now a lot darker (black), especially the maple. What can i do to restore the colors ...
