I have a hodge-podge of tools I have collected from my craigslist habit. The only big shop tool that I purchased new was the lathe.

Great looking hodge-podge there GP! How well does that dust collection on the RAS work? I have one of those saws (Craftsman, tho) and need a better method of dust collection for mine. Easy Wood Tools…. ROCK!

Welcome to Lumberjocks!

@Sawdustonmyshoulder: Thanks! The dust collection for the RAS works perfectly, but only if you use your saw for 90 cuts only. A side benefit is that the blade is mostly covered when the saw is pushed back, which may save a finger someday. I agree about Easy Wood Tools. They make a great product and they run their company in a way that makes me feel good about giving them money.

GP, sorry I didn’t post this project to you to look at in reference to the Easy Wood Tools.

I’ll trade you…. I’ll make a RAS dust collector attachment and you copy the link below. You won’t be disappointed.

My lathe ‘duplicator’ using the EWT: http://lumberjocks.com/projects/130305

That is a pretty cool jig! I may have to take you up on that trade. So far, I do not do much duplication work but that may be because I do not have that jig yet. Thank you for sharing.

Digging that WT bandsaw… beautiful form on those old tools. Its a shame that same attention to detail isn’t a consideration for modern tools. I also love CL and auction sites in general looking forward to y9our updates.
