This Kleenex box was one of many I made for the Sun City Oro Valley, Seniors for Kids (SFK) fund raiser..

The wood shop makes wood toys, keep sake boxes and puzzles to give to under privileged children in the Tucson area. The SCOV community also has two yearly fund raisers to raise money for the children’s families needs. This box was one of two that I kept for our home.

Our shop has an introductory tool skills program that new members must go through. The tool skills classes project is making a wooden race car. Squaring a board, cutting the car shape with a bandsaw, drilling axle holes, rounding the edges on the router table introduce most of the tools in the shop.

Here is a link in which the race cars are shown along with other SFK items.
