I have been a woodworker since I was introduced to it at nine years old by a neighbor. For most of my life I worked in the garage on small projects for family and friends. I like to make things that are not only beautiful but are a challenge to build.

I designed and built a new 1040 square foot dream shop in 2000.
Having the large shop changed everything. After I built the shop I started taking woodworking classes with some nationally known instructors. “I have found that it can be inspirational to work with someone who is at a much higher level than yourself”. I have been particularly inspired by the works of David Marks and the late Sam Maloof.

"I think that when you help someone else to improve their woodworking skills you can make a much larger impact on their lives than if you just gave them a piece of your finest furniture” .

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
