Ive enjoyed woodworking since I was a kid (im 37 now and im basically at the same level of maturity as I once I was then though not as skilled as I was then). Definitely not a professional carpenter though I did work construction for about five years (residential renovations mostly some small commercial Reno's) learned a fair a bit, usually not what to do. Overall I think my presence on the site was probably at least marginally more positive then negative. Maybe

I live in 4 room apt in Montreal with my missus. My workbench is made out is made scrap framing lumber, plywood and it's located outside on the fire escape. It's not to warm in winter. Unfortunately I haven't actually been able to any actual wood working the last couple years because I messed up
Shoulder bad enough that I needed a bone graft if I wanted to do anything more than sharpen chisels, remove rust from old hand tools or do research on old British saws. So whhile I haven't been able to actually use any tools for while my apartment is basically now full of them. I just had the surgery though so I'm getting ready go back out on the fire escape. It's getting warmer and me and my buddy finally can put the several hundred board feet of solid white oak hard wood flooring we saved from the from being thrown in the dump by some guy who was replacing it with laminated floating floors. Shudder.
