How to remove vinyl flooring mastic from hardwood floor under kitchen cabinet toe kick

I removed the vinyl flooring in the kitchen but the black mastic adhesive needed to be removed. I could not remove it with chemical adhesive remover, so I rented a rotary polishing machine with Diamabrush plate which easily removed it. However it would not fit under the toe kick on the kitchen cabinets. Palm sanders and belt sanders would not fit in there either, so I used a paint removal disc on the electric drill.

I hate dealing with gooey cleanup jobs like that! 5% of the surface area and 90% of the work.

Looks like your diligence paid off, very clean!
