To put it mildly, disorganization is a bit of an issue in my shop. I have a 2.5 year old and a 6 month old, so my shop time is sporadic and often interrupted. Working in a 1-car garage, I can’t really afford to have clutter. Thus, I decided to build a cabinet for my growing collection of hand planes and tools. Part 2: Quick Sketchup Model

I took a bit of time this afternoon to make a quick model in Sketchup. I’d love thoughts—especially on the door. My plan is to hang it with a piano hinge. Would this be strong enough? Like I mentioned in my first blog post, I’m not planning on mounting anything especially heavy on this door (chisels and/or marking tools), but I’d love some thoughts on this issue.
