The time has come to retire the old kneading board, and for this I have recovered beech planks which, as you will see from the video, I have joined together with certified glue for food and after a lot of sanding I have finished with Vaseline oil for use.

good timing my wife has been asking me to make her one of these kneading boards.i see you used bisquits and glued the bread board ends,do you think you’ll have any problems with expansion splitting the board? what size did you make yours.not being a baker this is all new to me.

sorry for my bad English, using beech wood so a hard wood should not expand but for safety and aesthetics I decided to glue the side edges.
The size of the table is 60 cm x 80 cm and 1.8 mm of thickness.
Don’t worry, I’m just a maker, faithful to the motto built better than bought

I would guess that the thickness is 1.8 cm and not 1.8 mm.
