i joined lumberjocks about a half hour ago and every time i try to look at a forum page, it starts off normal then after a couple of seconds, the entire page goes grey and becomes unreadable. i looked around and can’t find what might be causing this. can anyone tell me what to do so i can enjoy the site without a visit to the ophthalmologist?
here are two images to demonstrate:

thank you,
essjay

Some parts of this site are not available to you if you’re not signed in. I’ve noticed recently that it requires sign-in each time, where it remained connected before.

It would help to know what device and browser you are using.

I have never observed this on any of my devices both signed in and not signed in.

If you use an ad blocker, perhaps it is overactive.

thanks, guys, for your thoughts and suggestions. tried control a and that highlighted everything in blue as if one wanted to copy selected text. also turned off my adblocker and that worked for 6 seconds, then back to the greyed out. tried loggin out then back in….and no difference. and my computer is a brand new pc that i built the last week of december, 2020, windows 10 pro 64 bit and using chrome browser version 90.0.4430.93. think i’ll check with the i.t. dept for lumberjacks and get to the bottom of this.
thanks for your efforts.
best, essjay
