I am a young 60+ man. I have, or have had, numerous hobbies over the years and decided to pick up one more - wood working. Actually, I have worked on many wood projects over the years - storage buildings, home remodeling, small projects, etc. I would like to explore something a little more challenging like kitchen cabinets and/or furniture. So I'm hoping to become a little wiser with the help of the good people on this forum.
I am married and have several grand children. I like traveling to new places, meeting people, and understanding their culture. I also like out door activities like hiking in the mountains or panning for gold with my better half.
Life is good and I'm looking forward to retiring in a few years.

I’m looking for a really good book on making kitchen cabinets. There is so much I need to learn. I want to start by researching the subject and relying on expert advice I’m hoping to get from this forum. I am a beginner and need to have a lot of focus on making joints, doors, and drawers. Can someone point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
