I have been building a timberframed house on my farm over the past nine years and am getting close to being finished. My work isn't always pretty and I wouldn't really call myself a carpenter even though I did most of the work on the house by myself.

I worked in a stone mill for several years and have accumulated a very large amount of scrap that I have and will use on my project.

I have been buying vintage american made power tools lately since there is very little made domestically anymore. I was drawn to the site hoping to pick up carpentry tips and to share info on servicing older power tools, mostly large worm drive saws and large grinder/sanders.
