The rack is made of 2×4 scraps. I made a jig to cut the slots consistently on the table saw, I have done it other ways but this seems more precise. The top rack piece is mounted to a 2×4 bracket that is mounted to the wall (sort of in a "T" configuration) in order to facilitate the bottom rack. The bottom rack is mounted directly to the wall and the slots are off-set so that the heads of the clamps on the bottom row fit between the bars of the clamps above them and also to support the bars of the clamps above. This will fit almost double the clamps in the same space. If you look at my projects, you will also notice that I built a clamp rack sometime ago, it looked like a great idea, but I don't think I would ever do it again even if I had a huge workspace. I am pretty happy with this setup (for now) and the only thing I might change is to leave a little more space between slots (even though I am perfectly happy with mine, just saying that you might want the extra space). The heads of the clamps simply sit on the racks no need to clamp them on (too much work unclamping to remove imho). Best of luck, if you have more questions or need more pictures or descriptions let me know.

    Hi:
It looks like you are having fun in sunny Florida and are making some real nice looking projects. Even as you say it, you don't have enough room.
I notice you have a your Parallel Clamps on a wall rack. How is it made? Made out of what? Do you have any problems with it? Would you change any thing you Did? Are they clamped to the bracket? I know that is a lot of questions, but I have to build a new rack. The one I use now is to high on the wall and it does not work with Parallel Clamps. I liked your rack. Keep up the good woodworking.

    Hi emetric,
You do nice work from the projects you have posted. I see you are in Deltona. I have just started woodworking as a hobby and read and research all I can. I need to post more photos of my ongoing project. Happy woodworking. Dave
